Physical Abilities Testing is an event that we encourage all gymnasts enrolled in the class program (White -Gold level) at the Michigan Academy of Gymnastics to participate in. The testing is a series of strength, flexibility, and power tests. The gymnasts are organized into groups and rotate through test stations. At each station, the gymnasts perform the exercise for an evaluator, who awards a score based on performance. A scoring system has been devised to award the gymnast a ribbon for their achievement for each exercise. The scoring system has been established to challenge gymnasts based on age and ability. At the end of the testing, all gymnasts will be awarded certificates of participation and ribbons according to their performance. This testing is designed to show all our students that their Physical Abilities play a significant role in developing a successful gymnast.
Testing Fee: $20.00 per child
